ISIBIS is a marketplace specialized in agri-food whose objective is to promote, facilitate and manage contact between agri-food producers and international buyers, contributing to the development of foreign trade, through a collaborative export model so that more small and medium-sized companies reach international markets . 

  • HOW DOES ISIBIS WORK?

ISIBIS operates as an intermediary and facilitator between the seller / producer (exporter) and the buyer (importer), managing the entire commercial negotiation process between the parties, ensuring that the principles of good faith are met and that the expected benefits are achieved. by both parties, under the principles of collaboration and joint work over time. 

  • I AM A PRODUCER, HOW DOES ISIBIS HELP ME?

ISIBIS is a showcase that exposes your products in foreign markets, allowing importers in different parts of the world to know and be interested in them. Our network of contacts, shopers and connoisseurs of trends in various international markets, is our main advantage, in addition to the close accompaniment in business that are carried out through professional and complete advice throughout the export process. 

  • DO I HAVE TO BE REGISTERED IN ISIBIS TO BE ABLE TO OFFER MY PRODUCTS?

Yes. In order to offer your products through ISIBIS.cl, you need to complete a short form, through which ISIBIS verifies basic aspects to create a User Registry. Then, you will receive your access data in your registered email, being able to complete the registration form for each of the products you want to offer.

  • DOES ISIBIS BUY MY PRODUCTS AND EXPORT THEM?

No, ISIBIS does not purchase the products. The operations are carried out directly between the producer (exporter) and the buyer (importer), for which the entire documentary and operational export process must be carried out by the producer, directly receiving all the benefits emanating from the process. 

  • HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO PUBLISH MY PRODUCTS ON ISIBIS?

Any. Product registration for producers and business opportunity registration for buyers is completely free.

  • WHAT REQUIREMENTS MUST I MEET TO OFFER MY PRODUCTS AT ISIBIS?

Few. Have a validly created and registered company, comply with all current legal regulations in Chile, and have a product that is exportable or with export potential. 

  • WHAT REQUIREMENTS MUST I MEET TO EXPORT MY PRODUCTS?

The requirements depend on the market to which the products are destined. However, to be able to export from Chile you must have:

-Initiation of activities before the Internal Revenue Service (SII) either as a legal person or a natural person that pays first category taxes.

-Have export spin enabled.

-Health resolution and compliance with health regulations.

-Be registered and / or authorized in the Agricultural and Livestock Service (SAG) or National Fisheries Service (Sernapesca) as required by the nature of the products.

  • DO I HAVE TO HAVE ANY CERTIFICATION TO EXPORT MY PRODUCTS?

Certifications are not a customs requirement to export, however, many buyers (importers) require it as part of their quality assurance processes.

  • WE CLOSE A BUSINESS, BUT I HAVE NEVER EXPORTED (OR I HAVE LITTLE EXPERIENCE). WHAT I DO?

ISIBIS accompanies and supports you throughout the process, making its team of professionals specialized in international business available to the producer, thus allowing you to carry out the entire process efficiently and reducing the risks associated with the operation itself. 

  • I AM AN IMPORTER, HOW DOES ISIBIS HELP ME?

At ISIBIS you can find different options for products and producers in one place, all of which are validated regarding the quality of their products and that they meet all the requirements for export. ISIBIS will allow you to reduce search and validation times for new suppliers, allowing you to connect with new potential suppliers more quickly and reducing the risks associated with the process. 

  • I NEED A PRODUCT THAT IS NOT IN ISIBIS. CAN YOU HELP ME FIND A SUPPLIER?

Yes of course. In that case, you must create a user account as "Buyer", enter the system and make a purchase publication. A short form will be displayed to complete all the details of the product you are looking for. This requirement will be analyzed by our commercial team and we will activate the search for producers who meet the requested profile. Once we validate your proposals, we will send you all the information so that you can activate the negotiation process. 

  • I AM INTERESTED IN A PRODUCT PUBLISHED ON THE PLATFORM, BUT I NEED MORE OPTIONS TO EVALUATE. CAN ISIBIS HELP ME?

If you need more options, you can make a purchase publication which will be sent to new producers, which will be validated by our sales team and later we will send you the complementary information so that you can make the best decision. 

  • HOW IS A BUSINESS AGREEMENT FORMALIZED AT ISIBIS?

For each operation, an agreement between the parties involved is signed by both parties, a document in which all the clauses such as Prices, delivery terms, forms of payment, shipment term, required documents, among other topics are established. Once the document is accepted and signed by all parties, the boarding process begins. 

  • WHO RECEIVES PAYMENT FOR THE OPERATION?

Payment is received directly by the producer (exporter). The buyer (importer) must make the payment of the operation to the account that the producer indicates following the instructions agreed by both parties-
